The Williamson County Institute for Excellence in Nonprofits, Inc. empowers organizations to identify strategies that enable it to advance their mission. We help nonprofit organizations identify their strengths, opportunities for improvement, diagnose overall performance management systems, and assess improvement efforts. By engaging the Board and staff throughout the process, we encourage them to set priorities for implementation, establish measurable goals, and create action plans that drive results. The Institute accomplishes this through a collection of processes and outcomes.
"The Caring Place has just completed part 1 of the Self-Assessment with the Institute The Caring Place has always been committed to continuous improvement and the opportunity to have a facilitate, open discussion with volunteers, staff, and board members about what we're doing well and what we can improve on has been very helpful. We have identified opportunities for organizational improvement that we might not otherwise have recognized. We are now developing a work plan to improve in those areas. I am excited about the work ahead which, ultimately, will positively impact everyone we serve."

"Working with the Institute for Excellence and the Quality Texas Foundation has caused us to continually evaluate how we do everything at ROCK to improve. Ultimately, that means we provide better service to children, adults, and veterans that come to us."
"The report and follow-up conversations with the Institute's subject matter experts gave Habitat staff and volunteers an objective perspective on our work. Without that, input, we couldn't have taken as many strides towards excellence as we have in such a short time. We are committed to excellence and appreciate the support provided by the Institute."
