Anna+Anton Olson Legacy Foundation Previews 2025 Grant Cycle

2025 Grant Program Opens August 7

The Foundation is excited to announce that it will distribute up to $150,000 in grants to local non-profits for the 2025 Grant Cycle, which officially opens August 7, with funding available for both immediate operational needs and long-term capacity-building projects. Grants will range from $1,500 to $18,000 per project, with up to $20,000 available for multiple projects in one grant application.

By uniting generations and strengthening nonprofits, we help build communities where young minds thrive, and older adults live at home with dignity.  Nonprofits that support the Taylor, Hutto, and Georgetown communities will be able to apply for operational support grants if the focus is within one or more of the following three Foundation Priorities:

  • Give underserved K-12 students more opportunities to thrive.
  • Foster an entrepreneurial spirit among youth and young adults in underserved areas.
  • Provide independence and dignity to seniors trying to live at home.

To help organizations prepare, the Foundation has released a two-page grant preview outlining eligibility, funding priorities, application requirements and important dates.  You can download the 2025 Grant Application Preview: https://anna-anton.org/grants

Key dates:

  • Applications open: August 7, 2025
  • Deadline to apply: September 19, 2025
  • Awards Announcement: November 7, 2025

“We believe in empowering people who empower others,” said Olson. “This year’s program is about giving local nonprofits the resources—and the runway—to build something sustainable in our communities.”
